Galaxy S10 Lite Full Review | Disadvantages and advantages

Galaxy S10 Lite Full Review | Disadvantages and advantages: The Lite title gives the idea of a more affordable device. But this does not necessarily mean that it is a cheap model. The Galaxy S10 Lite is an example of this: it cuts down some specifications to reduce the body-wrapped price with an elegant and conservative aesthetic. It’s a phone with generally good features and some shortcomings you have to take into consideration.

 Galaxy S10 Lite

Galaxy S10 Lite Full Review is one of the lightest cell phones we’ve analyzed. The 186g (6.56oz) weight and the ultra-slim design (162.5 x 75.6 x 8.1mm) – without the need to fold sides – translate into a very comfortable device in the hand, despite its 6.7-inch screen.

At the back, he wears blue plastic, which helps lower the price compared to the Galaxy S20. However, his appearance in this tone is excellent and at the same time discreet. If you are one of those who hate fingerprint marks, then they also stick, but they aren’t as noticeable as in other equipment. In this rear region, the smartphone is not off the square or rectangular camera modules, and it houses three lenses.

FHD (2400 x 1080 pixels) display features 394 dpi, Super AMOLED Plus technology, and minimal edges, brightness and vivid colors (at saturation cost, helping to beautify everything that appears, and we like it because it’s not an excessive change). If you prefer more realistic colors, select the normal mode in Settings / Display / Display Mode.

Other than that, it’s a phone that pretty much goes along with the others, with the audio settings and power button on the right, a USB-C port on the bottom, and a card slot on the left side. You don’t have a 3.5mm jack connector, which shouldn’t be a problem, and since then, instead of a case, the headphones (headphones) box with USB-C has included.

Performance, battery, and charging

As for the processor, Snapdragon 855 (same as Google Pixel 4 XL and Galaxy Note 10 Plus), 8GB RAM, and price, this phone is in the upper low range. This chip is no longer the most advanced in this category, it has been replaced by 865 that includes many star phones launched in 2020, such as Galaxy S20, Motorola Edge Plus, OnePlus 8, and many more. It doesn’t have the most advanced one, however, we were surprised by the smooth and fast execution of all tasks. It provides 128GB of storage space for lots of content, and the best thing is that if you need more, you are putting a memory card and increasing it to another 1TB (max).

In principle, you should be quiet if you need independence for a business day with intense use. In our review, with nearly ten hours of video playback spread over two days, along with browsing the web and taking pictures, it gave us over two whole days (without turning it off at night). And his battery is not of the highest capacity (4,500 mAh).

In the case of fast charging, it also works as you would expect on a phone at a great price. With a 25-watt charger, you get half the independence in about 25 minutes, which is not the best period, of course, and that doesn’t take long to highlight. It fully charges an average of 65 minutes, which is fine, although you find a similar speed in some mid-range phones at reasonable prices. Among them are Realme 6 and Redmi Note 9 Pro, both of which are priced under 300 euros.

The cameras

Galaxy S10 Lite Full Review

The three phone lenses were photographed with a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens (and Super Steady stabilizer), 12 megapixels with a very wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. It is true that when it comes to megapixels, it does not stand out and does not matter. Take high-quality pictures. The selfie image aims to reach a high resolution of 32 megapixels (it also fulfills what you expect in a mobile phone at a great price).

Perhaps the weakest point of this camera is the night mode. In scenes with some lighting fills well and the result is acceptable. Without lighting, unlike other phones, does not light up enough to take a decent photo. The overall function, without being one of the best, achieves its goal as long as you respect the recommended distance (between 3 and 5 cm), which determines the size of the detail to be captured (in a size not too large).

When it comes to zooming in, Samsung picks up to a maximum of 8x, which is the number of zooms under other cameras but it behaves well. So you can apply the least part mostly: we say that because it is not feasible to put 10x or more and then the images become blurred. With a maximum of 8x, it gives the size in images, but when applied in video mode, it does not maintain this quality and does not focus clearly.

If you want to take creative pictures with bokeh effect, the dynamic focus mode (equivalent to the vertical mode on other mobile phones) comes with several virtual blurs and a strip to choose the degree of blurring in the background. In selfies, it allows you to specify blurring even after taking the photo, as well as with the ability to change the color to black and white.

Software

Based on Android 10 and One UI 2.1, it’s one of the layers we love so much due to its amount of detail. Among them, the ability to create a small popup window with call icons to be able to use the screen while talking; Display contents
